Artists can use Set Lists to make playlists from their set lists in Apple Music for Artists, and fans can listen to songs for prospective tours or reminisce about past performances without having to search for songs to make a playlist.
Artists must have an Apple Music for Artists profile with an artist image that will serve as the playlist cover in order to utilize the new functionality.
Songs that have been played or will be played at events should be included in set lists, and artists are free to make as many lists as they have performed or plan to perform. Artists may also list other artists they have worked with or covered.
By linking a Shazam account, set lists are published on the Shazam app’s events pages as well as the Shazam artist page on Shazam.com. In order to facilitate the creation of set lists and guarantee that fans are aware of forthcoming performances, artists can also link their Apple Music artist profile to Bandsintown.

Apple Music Set Lists Can Be Deleted or Hidden
Set lists can also be hidden or deleted by artists to get them off of Apple Music. To achieve that, follow these steps:
- Click the ellipsis next to the artist image after selecting the Set List from Artist Content that you wish to remove.
- Select if the list should be deleted or hidden.
- When you delete a set list, it is permanently removed from both your Apple Music for Artist profile and Apple Music. It was also taken out of user libraries.
- When a set list is hidden, it is taken out of Apple Music but remains in draft form in your Apple Music for Artist profile, allowing for future publication. The list in user libraries is not removed.
This new tool can also be used by artists to advertise forthcoming tours and performances. Artists may engage with both new and existing fans by sharing their playlist on social media sites like Facebook and Instagram using the Promote tool in the Apple Music for Artist app or online.
