Leaders from the governmental, private, social, and other sectors—which provide a global platform for interaction and collaboration—discussed 2024 success strategies at the just concluded Knowledge Bank Summit.
With the theme “Navigating the Knowledge Economy: Strategies for Success in 2024 and Beyond,” the summit, which was held virtually via Zoom on June 29, 2024, brought together leaders from the governmental, private, social, and other domains, offering a worldwide forum for cooperation and dialogue.
A wide range of speakers from the summit offered insightful advice on how to succeed in the contemporary information economy.
According to HR professional Adenrele Onikosi, “Knowledge workers are the driving force using their expertise to generate new ideas, solve complex problems, and drive innovation,” highlighting the critical role that knowledge workers play in society. Onikosi’s session focused on the importance of continuous upskilling to maintain competitiveness in today’s rapidly evolving industry.
Media strategist Chizobam Ofoegbu stressed the value of personal branding in her talk on media positioning.
Creating a personal brand gives you a platform to market other products, she said. Use your social media profiles as a means of promoting your brand. Attendees were inspired by Ofoegbu’s insights to use digital platforms to increase their visibility both personally and professionally.
Additional speakers included Precious Eniayekan, whose talk on personal branding in the digital age had a particularly strong impact; Agbolade Omowole, who talked about leveraging technology to succeed in the knowledge economy, as well as Mofolusade Sonaike, who studied how mindfulness might lead to personal satisfaction.
The summit’s organizer, Kehinde Ajose, gave a stirring speech at the end of the gathering, exhorting attendees to use the knowledge they had learned to improve both their personal and professional lives.
He asserted that knowledge is only effective when it is put to use. “Know” and “edge” are the words that precede “knowledge.” This indicates that your knowledge gives you an advantage over other people. Applying what you have learnt here is essential to success and keeping ahead in the information economy.
Attendees found resonance in Ajose’s final words, which summed up the summit’s main goal of equipping people with practical tactics that leverage knowledge for long-term success. The Knowledge Bank Summit 2024 was a fruitful occasion that equipped professionals and business owners with the abilities and information required to thrive in the quickly changing knowledge economy.
